Medical conditions that we treat
We specialize in treating a wide range of conditions that affect individuals of all ages and activity levels, from aging athletes to active parents/grandparents to everyday individuals. Our team is experienced in both the treatment and prevention of common sports injuries, whether acute or chronic. We also provide advanced interventional pain management. Our areas of expertise include:
Osteoarthritis
Roughly 1 in 4 adults have arthritis, and among people with arthritis, 44% report arthritis-related limitations in their quality of life.
While there is no cure for arthritis, we offer many effective non-surgical options for pain management. This includes lifestyle changes, assistive devices, medications, and injections.
If we do not think we can manage your arthritis non-surgically, we will refer you to our preferred orthopedic surgery providers.
Adhesive Capsulitis
Adhesive capsulitis, aka “frozen shoulder” is a condition that is characterized by pain followed by stiffness and inability to move the shoulder joint.
Frozen shoulder will gradually improve over months to years, but it can be very frustrating and limiting throughout.
We offer various treatment options for management of this debilitating condition while helping to speed along your recovery.
Chronic Tendinopathies
Tendinopathies affect the tendons which connect muscle to bones. These conditions lead to impaired function due to tendon degeneration and inflammation.
We offer various treatment options for many types of chronic tendinopathies, including those that affect the shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, ankles and more. These include rotator cuff, lateral and medial epicondylitis, gluteal, patellar, posterior tibial tendinopathies. We also treat calcific tendinonitis.
